The "New Timbuktu" app aggregates the best video and audio resources the internet has to offer for the most comprehensive collection of multimedia materials on Black History available. Produced by Leaders of a Beautiful Struggle (LBS), a Baltimore based social enterprise, it seeks to provide users with resource that reflects the diversity of Black life with a focus on quality control. Produced in consultation with professors from some of Americas top universities, topic covered include: Black Feminism Afrocentrism Black Art Health Economics Civil Rights Black Power.
